African Child INITIATIVE {ACI} is a non-profit organisation in Uganda interested in improving and providing education, feeding, clothes and medication to children from tremendous poor families and children neglected of their right to education in Uganda.
Child neglect occur in all sections of our society, but the risk factors are greater in orphaned families, parents having economic challenges, have difficulty controlling anger, alcohol or drugs abused, have no education or were abused or neglected as children.
African Child Initiative was founded to relieve poverty by educating and proving health care, food, shelter and psychosocial support to neglected children and orphans so that they achieve their full potentials.
We focus on the most neediest and most vulnerable children in Uganda. Many have lost one or both parents to poverty or disease. We helps these children break away from the everyday cycle of poverty and hopeless
